This work will allow Dan to understand the EvoDevo mechanisms of tooth loss and gain in frogs.
Dan has been awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Biology, in a joint project between the labs of Jim Hanken and Scott Edwards at Harvard, and the Fraser lab, at the University of Florida. The title of Dan's project is: Uncovering the Mechanisms of Convergent Tooth Loss in Frogs: Linking Developmental Genetics, Comparative Genomics, and Environmental Effects.
